I’m a full time wedding photographer with a relaxed documentary approach. I’m the photographer for you if you see yourself fully immersed in the enjoyment of your day with friends and family. Leave it to me to capture those authentic interactions, moments of hilarity and laughter, and the quiet kisses, so in years to come you can reach for your wedding album and be transported straight back to those feelings.

Photography has been a constant in my life since about the age of thirteen. In the summer of 2016, I shot my first wedding and 100 weddings later I now find myself in the fortunate position of having evolved my lifelong hobby into a career.
Previously, I was on track to be a social researcher; I’d always had an interest in people, psychology, statistics and why things are the way they are. How I approach photography is still firmly informed by my inquisitiveness and my people watching skills! I’m pretty good at predicting those moments of laughter and always looking out for interesting, emotional or funny interactions. My interest in people’s stories of course extends to my couples, and I really enjoy getting to know you both, what’s important to you, how you see your day and how you want to relive it.

My working style is unobtrusive. I give gentle guidance if needed, but generally I let the day flow and I hope you forget I’m there. My editing style is influenced by film photography and is subtle, natural, and timeless.
WE DON’T WANT YOUR DAY TO FEEL LIKE ONE LONG STAGED PHOTOSHOOT. I’M THERE FOR THE REAL STUFF.
I want you to feel entirely at ease to be yourselves, so for most of the day, I just leave you both to get on with it and have a great time!
When it comes around to getting some couples’ pictures, we’ll go for a wander and I’ll offer natural posing guidance and gentle encouragement as you catch up with eachother. I promise no stiff posing, no cheese and no awkwardness, just happy, relaxed images!

The anticipation and nerves, happiness and excitement, the unparalleled joy and all day party: weddings are seriously fun to be a part of. Photographing this amazing celebration is often hair-raising, high-pressure and fast-paced. There are no do-overs on a wedding day; every moment only happens once, setting it apart from many other forms of photography. With this in mind, it is so important your photographer is not only creative and observant, but is also sure to never take their eyes off the ball!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Before the day
Upon booking, you’ll receive my welcome guide with lots of helpful information, tips & recommended suppliers. 1 month before the day, I love to meet you via video call so we can get to know one another, and go through your plans and photography preferences. In the run up to the wedding, I’m always just an email or a phone call away if you’re ever in need of advice or a helping hand.

ON THE DAY
I’ll be as discreet as possible. Like a fly on the wall, I’ll be snapping away capturing you, your family and friends in the moment, and details big and small. If you like, I can boss you and your guests around for 20 minutes to get some relaxed group shots. If you would like some natural, romantic shots of just the two of you, let me know in advance and we can be sure to factor this in.

AFTER THE DAY
Within 1 week of the wedding, you’ll receive a sneak preview of at least 10 photos. 4-8 weeks later, I deliver your full gallery; individually edited, high resolution images via a password protected online gallery where you can view, download and share your photos with family and friends. Then we can sort you some prints! I also have albums available.
Exploring my portfolio is the best thing you can do to get a feel of the way I shoot and edit weddings.

I get it – having your photo taken professionally isn’t something most of us are used to and can be a little uncomfortable! But with my easy-going, discreet approach, you will find it easier than you think to be yourselves and relax into the process. You may even find yourselves enjoying it by the end!
